I just got a call from my friend Morgan. She read on my blog that I was going to defrost my frozen chicken on the counter. Now, she says that I should never defrost chicken on the counter, but only in the fridge. I had just heard earlier this week from my music pastor that he thaws his chicken on the counter all the time. I think I'll follow Morgan's advice, though, since she's in school to be a nurse!
